![]() Women's Red Tent Gatherings Red Tents are an old ritual honoring a time of transformation or transition in a woman's life... Jennifer Penick, R.Y.T. facilitates offering a safe, positive space and different topic each time, for women to come together and share. Mothers, daughters (menstruating), grandmothers, sisters, aunts and friends come together to share their power, love, courage, understanding, support and wisdom with one another. Next Date: Friday, March 4 7:30 - 9:30 pm (doors open at 7:00) "We will be sharing stories and wisdom about our First Menstrual Cycle...please feel free to bring your daughters who have just experienced their First Menstrual Cycle...this will be a night to acknowledge and honor this transition into womanhood How were you prepared for this transition in your life? How do we prepare our daughters?" You are encouraged to come, bring friends, sisters, etc. Feel free to share or simply “soak it all in” and ponder and reflect privately. You will sit around candlelight upon plush Red Pillows and meet new women, see some friends, share decadent food and make deeper connections to the women around you in your community. These evenings remind us that we are all ONE and not ALONE. The intention is to “stir” thoughts up so that they may settle into a new order -- one in which they might reflect back to us new perceptions, deeper inquiry, perhaps answers to questions that lie within us -- for all the answers to all of our questions already lie within us. We just need to call upon them... and listen. |
