 Deidre LorenzoComfort Measures for Labor Workshop Harmony Childbirth Prep Deidre is an experienced educator and DONA-certified Birth Doula dedicated to providing professional, individualized, unbiased, and nurturing support to pregnant families throughout the greater South Bay and Santa Cruz areas. Deidre has been passionate about supporting families through birth since just after the birth of her own daughter in 1992, and has been a practicing Labor Assistant since 2004. She is now also trained to lead Birthing From Within childbirth preparation classes (again, grounded in providing unbiased information and tools for parents - not pushing any particular 'agenda') and provides in-home lactation assistance and post-partum care. Deidre is also active both with BABI and the Birth Network of Santa Cruz County. She hopes, through her classes and doula work, to help parents have a safe and joyous birth experience.
