Each instructor’s class will bring her unique style and tone, but all fitness with baby classes at Harmony offer a very comfortable, supportive, and playful environment where parents/caregivers can meet and socialize with other parents, enjoy special time with their babies, and not have to worry about having their babies “bother” others.
Babies laugh, cry, feed, and sleep while grown-ups get some toning, stretching, and strengthening in a friendly, supportive environment. Yoga with Baby classes involve some postures with the babies and some with babies resting on the mat. Prior yoga experience is not necessary to join these classes and enjoy this special time!
Moms are welcome to join as soon after birth as they feel up to it and are “cleared” by their midwife or doctor for gentle movement — usually around 4-6 weeks postpartum.
These classes are offered on a drop-in / package basis, to allow for flexibility around baby’s unpredictable schedules and mom’s needs. Registration is not necessary for drop-in classes.
