 New Mom's CommunityFacilitated by Allana Moore Bring your questions, joys, and challenges and connect with other moms who can relate in this warm, welcoming environment. We know it can be a production to get out of the house, but are sure you'll find the reward is well worth the effort! Our new mom's community at Harmony is an open group each week offering both mom-to-mom social support and the resources of a birth/early parenting specialist, Allana Moore. Allana is a warm and compassionate mother of two, who is also a birth and early parenting specialist dedicated to offering nonjudgmental support and information to pregnant and parenting families. Group times are often the much-needed sanity check about issues of sleep, eating, breastfeeding, family, healthcare, birth healing, friends, and much, much more. It is a boost in your day, whether this is your first baby or 5th! Harmony's New Mom's Community gatherings are open to any mom looking for connection, support, friendship, and/or information. There is no age restriction for babies, so moms should come whenever they feel it is appropriate for their needs and schedule. Whether you are seeking just a little time out of the house with other adults; can't wait to find out what others have done to address a challenge you are facing; are feeling exhausted and overwhelmed in need of support; or excited to share a recent milestone or amazing find, a mom's group is just the place. Drop in for a cup of tea and share, complain, laugh, or cry with others who can understand. You may just come away with a growing network of friends, and the kind of support every mom needs. Most babies come to group with mom, but if baby has somewhere else to be, moms are also welcome on their own! This group is open for you to drop-in any and all weeks you can make it! We ask a small fee of $5 - $20 at your discretion according to your financial ability. If you cannot afford to pay anything, please come anyway or call Harmony at 408-370-3702 with questions.
