| Drop-In Prenatal Yoga with Nanci Tudish Nanci brings her nearly 20 years of yoga practice and her passion for birth and babies to every class. She remembers how her yoga practice needed to be modified with her growing belly and shares this knowledge with her students. While supporting and enhancing the strength and flexibility of the expectant mom's body, the focus of this class is on using the breath to move prana (life force) into and throughout the body for mom and baby. While focusing on the breath (pranayama), we move from pose to pose (asana) and pay special attention to alignment of the body in order to work in a safe and efficient manner. Nanci's energy is strong and active, and she incorporates information, challenging ideas, and helpful tips about pregnancy, labor, and parenting into each class for a rich experience. She also encourages deep relaxation, self-care, and fosters connections between moms in her classes. You will leave class feeling alive from head to toe and relaxed and refreshed. The class is appropriate for beginners to experienced yoginis. The techinques you practice here will carry every mom-to-be through labor, delivery and throughout your journey as a mother.
